Welcome to Unity Day, 2009!

Registration is now closed.

Unity Day, an afternoon of community service, grew out of the rich Mitzvah Day tradition of Beth Emet Synagogue. This year, Beth Emet is joined by St. Nicholas Parish, Reba Place Church and Second Baptist Church. Together we're putting our faith to work -- quite literally! Whether it's repairing the earth or helping others in need, Unity Day builds our common spirit and commitment to our community.

On this site, you'll find a brochure listing service opportunities of all sorts, for people of all ages and abilities. Registration opens March 25th and closes April 21st. Choose a project and sign up today to ensure you have a place in the project of your choice.

As we gather together on April 26, we hope that Unity Day gives you a stronger sense of our shared purpose, a greater understanding of the needs of our community, and maybe even a new friendship.

Peace, Paz, Shalom!
